NEW GEN EXPRESS JA | TERMS OF SERVICE
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
By registering for an account, using our provided shipping address, or utilizing any services provided by New Gen Express Ja, you (the "Customer") agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Use of our services constitutes full legal acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not utilize the shipping address provided.
SHIPPING & WEIGHT POLICIES
Packages missing a unique Account Number (e.g., NEWG-0000) may be delayed or lost. New Gen Express Ja is not liable for packages incorrectly addressed by the sender.
Rates are subject to change based on fluctuating fuel surcharges or airline price increases.
CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES
Under Jamaican law, packages with a CIF value of $100.00 USD or less are generally duty-free. Items valued at $100.01 USD or more are subject to full customs duties and taxes.
Customers are required to upload invoices to the dashboard immediately upon purchase. If no invoice is provided, Jamaica Customs will estimate the value, and the Customer accepts responsibility for the resulting charges.
All customs charges and service fees must be paid in full before packages are released for pickup or delivery.
PROHIBITED & RESTRICTED ITEMS
The Customer agrees NOT to ship any items prohibited by IATA or the Jamaica Customs Agency.
Banned Items: Illegal drugs, firearms/ammunition, explosives, flammable liquids (perfumes, aerosols), and camouflage material.
Restricted (Requires Permit): Toy guns, pepper spray, meat/plants, and pharmaceuticals.
Any items seized, destroyed, or fined by Customs due to lack of permits or illegal content are the sole responsibility of the Customer.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We are not liable for damage caused by poor packaging from the original supplier (e.g., Amazon, Shein).
Our liability for loss or damage while in our possession is capped at $100.00 USD per shipment unless additional insurance was purchased.
Electronics, glass, and liquids are shipped at the Customer's own risk.
STORAGE & ABANDONMENT
Packages are held for 14 days at no cost.
A fee of $100 JMD per day applies after the 14-day grace period.
Packages left unclaimed for more than 30 days will be considered abandoned. New Gen Express Ja reserves the right to auction or dispose of abandoned goods to recover shipping and storage costs.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS
New Gen Express Ja reserves the right to refuse service to any individual and to update these terms at any time. Your continued use of the service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
